Mommy's Paranoid...

Well, it happened. My first minor mommy freak out. We took Ellie to the doctor today. No worries...she's 100% perfectly fine. She's been a little congested and has had a few loose stools, but apparently she's perfectly healthy. The problem with working in a children's hospital is that we see the worst case scenario all the time. So, I was convinced she had RSV and rotavirus. Nope. Just a nose full of little boogies and a mildly upset belly. Nothing that requires intervention, medication, or hospitalization. Take a chill pill, Rebecca. We did get to find out that E weighs 13 pounds 2 ounces now. Wonder how many more times I'll self diagnose the little one? :-)

  1. I think a little mommy paranoia is ok =). I'm a pediatric physical therapist and so I think of all the things that could go wrong and if she isn't meeting a milestone like I think she should - I freak out. I think its because we love our child so much - yes?
